Founded in 2014, they are a non-profit 501(c)3 tax-exempt charitable organization managed by both a volunteer executive board and an advisory committee of avalanche professionals.  Their funding comes from generous donations by our members, our local supporting partners, and Volunteer Board Members, Aaron Ball, Andrew Klotz, Daisy Matthews, Jeremy Dakan, John Byrd, John Strand and Rob Lloyd.
